Searching for information

  • Use short, clear keywords.
  • Check that the website is reliable: official and educational websites are better.
  • Use your own words and say where the information comes from (the source). Copying and saying you wrote it is plagiarism.

Digital communication

Email, video calls, messages and blogs use the internet. Always ask before sharing photos of other people.

Netiquette

  • Be polite and kind online: behind every screen there is a real person.
  • Don't write in CAPITAL LETTERS: it looks like shouting.
  • Passwords are secret: only share them with your parents or tutors.
  • A message saying «You have won a prize! Click here» is probably a scam: don't click and tell an adult.
